Questions clients ask
What does a Help to Buy valuation cost?
We quote a fixed fee for each property. Tell us the address and what the valuation is for, online or by phone. We come back the same working day with your quote and the earliest inspection dates. There is no obligation.
How long is the valuation valid for?
The scheme administrator sets the validity period, usually three months from the inspection date. If your repayment or sale takes longer than that, a short update may be possible. Tell us your timeline when you enquire and we will plan around it.
Will the scheme administrator accept your report?
It is prepared to the administrator's own format and rules. The administrator requires a valuation from a RICS Registered Valuer that follows its format and rules. That is exactly what we prepare. We check the current requirements before every inspection.
What do I need to prepare?
Have four things ready. They are the property address, your equity loan reference, the reason for the valuation and any deadline you have been given. We need access to every room on the day. It also helps to have the original purchase price and the current loan percentage to hand.
How quickly can you do it?
We reply to every enquiry the same working day and offer the earliest inspection date we have. The report follows within two working days of the visit. If you have a hard deadline, tell us and we will do our best to meet it.
